Obedience Training

Need some help getting your dog to listen to you and be well behaved?  Obedience training should be fun and rewarding for you and your dog!   
 
Level 1:
Get started with learning how to teach your dog the basic skills needed to be a polite and well-behaved member of the family.  We will assess and reinforce pre-existing skills and teach you how to communicate effectively with your dog.   Skills taught will include the essentials such as sit, lie down, drop-it and leash manners.   We will also start foundation work for stay and a basic recall (come).
 
Level 2: 
Continue training to solidify and expand on what has already been learned and work on more advanced concepts that focus on impulse control such as leave-it, hospitable greetings and boundary training.
 
Level 3:
Build reliability by working with distractions.  Even a dog who has strong skills during focused training sessions can “forget” how to behave around distractions such as guests or other dogs, and in different environments including on walks or during off-leash time in the yard.  This advanced training will teach your dog how to remain calm, cool and collected in a variety of settings and situations.
